gladiator

i was watching gladiator the other day and i began to wonder what ever happened to the general being the most adept warrior on the battlefield that rallied his men behind him.  now it seems as though we choose our generals based more on behavior than military valiance and strategy.  especially since the strategy going into iraq seemed like something i could have come up with.  i’m not saying i would have gone into iraq i’m just saying i would’ve avoided killing innocent civilians a little bit more.  you would think with all of our vast technology we could aim a little better.

update on bike falls

my last excerpt pertained to my roommate nearly scaring some guy off his bike.  i remember another time when i was in my cousin’s car and we saw a young kid riding his bike down the street with his friend.  as he was riding a locust flew into his hair.  this was followed by a high pitched scream and him falling off his bike.  we stopped the car and laughed and his friend rode away from him laughing.

roommate

my roommate is completely out of his mind and i love it. he says the craziest things in the most inappropriate times.  he loves to scream at random people as we walk down the street, especially if they are on bikes.  he almost scared some guy off his bike on the way to the library the other day.  it was probably the funniest thing i had ever seen.

wii

wii bowling is perhaps the most euphoricly infuriating game ever created by man. almost every day i got to my buddy’s room and we play wii bowling with a couple of guys for about 20 minutes its like a cocaine addiction that needs to be satisfied daily if only for a moment, but once you get the high score you’re never satisfied with anything but another high score. i’m chasing the dragon with my wii bowling and i don’t know if i’ll be able to stop until i get that 300.
