wine

i had a wine seminar the other day through a gentleman initiative.  while i already knew everything my brother had to say it got me thinking about wine.  most people cannot tell the difference between a good merlot and the undrinkable swill they are served because it has been oxidized from being opened and closed for the past two days.  while i am by no means an expert on wine i have found it very interesting.  becoming a sommelier is one of the most difficult things a person can do.  these wine stewards train for years and years before even attempting the exam and even then very few pass.  the world of wine experts is extremely exclusive, but i think it would be awesome if someone i knew made it in.
